Isles Buns and Coffee in South Minneapolis will showcase the The North Minneapolis WHAT WE WANT project. The exhibit will run Nov. 3-Jan. 31.
The work features letterpress broadsides by George Roberts. This wonderful and welcoming coffee shop is located at 1428 West 28 Street and is hosted by owner Catherine Veigel, a long-time friend of Homewood Studios.
WHAT WE WANT broadsides explore the relatively common wishes and desires Northsiders hold for their community. The goal of the series is to reveal how Northsiders speak about and value our neighborhood just like people other parts of our city.
