For the past two years, Amanda Rose, Gallery Assistant at Homewood Studios, has installed shows, climbed ladders to fix lights and install lettering, been a greeter at receptions and an all-around support for events in the gallery.  During these same two years Amanda, attended the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, to earn earned an MFA degree.   She has since garnered teaching positions at MCAD and St. Catherine University in St Paul.  In celebration of her time spent at Homewood Studios, we offered Amanda her own show in December, which she has curated and managed.

AMBER VISIONS highlights emerging artists and provides space for them to share their unique perspectives. Priority was given to artists based in the Twin Cities, aiming to highlight work that inspires hope. The exhibition is colorful, uplifting, and innovative. Many of the featured works reject social barriers, such as gender-based oppression and racial discrimination.
